According to Lex Machina (a LexisNexis company) insurance litigation cases have increased nationwide by nearly 50 percent since 2017 in federal and appellate courts, and it seems very safe to say that litigation is by no means slowing down in New York. Insurance companies now need to navigate these new and increased challenges in a state that is already known for its difficult legal climate. Join NYIA on Thursday, March 23 from 2:00–3:30 p.m. (ET) for a virtual legal roundtable discussion on litigation developments impacting the insurance industry.
