Legal Roundtable: Insurance Litigation Trends

Held On: Thursday, March 23, 2023
2:00–3:30 p.m. (ET)
Virtual Program

According to Lex Machina (a LexisNexis company) insurance litigation cases have increased nationwide by nearly 50 percent since 2017 in federal and appellate courts, and it seems very safe to say that litigation is by no means slowing down in New York. Insurance companies now need to navigate these new and increased challenges in a state that is already known for its difficult legal climate. Join NYIA on Thursday, March 23 from 2:00–3:30 p.m. (ET) for a virtual legal roundtable discussion on litigation developments impacting the insurance industry.

Moderator Marc Craw, attorney, general counsel office at MLMIC Insurance Company will be joined by a panel of defense and coverage attorneys who are seeing and experiencing insurance litigation trends firsthand. Featured speakers include Joshua Hoffman of Hoffman Roth & Matlin, LLP; Dan Kohane and Ryan Maxwell of Hurwitz Fine PC; Roy Mura of Mura Law Group, PLLC; Joseph Wilson of Barclay Damon LLP and Audra Zane of Farber, Brocks and Zane L.L.P.

Registration is complimentary for NYIA members. Please be sure to share this invitation with those on your staff who would have an interest in the topics being discussed. The roundtable will be a great opportunity for participants to ask questions and share perspective with insurance industry peers. Register today!
