Martin Bogue is deputy general counsel and head of global regulatory at American International Group (AIG).

Martin leads a team at AIG that is responsible for day to day work with insurance regulatory agencies and leads AIG’s government Relations team to help identify and strategically address regulatory matters.

Prior to taking this position, Martin held several other roles within the company, including assigned counsel for the Surety, M&A Insurance and AIG Re business units, and head of the Americas Regulatory, Governance and Transactional Group.

Prior to joining AIG, Martin was with O’Melveny & Myers LLP.

Martin earned a B.A. from Fordham University and a J.D. from Fordham Law School where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review.

Martin was elected to the New York Insurance Association’s Board of Directors in 2022.
