Take NYS Thruway (1-87) North. Take Exit 23 (Albany-Rensselaer) and follow signs for I-787 North. Exit at Empire State Plaza. Proceed into the tunnel underneath the Plaza. As you come out of the tunnel turn right onto Swan Street (do NOT make the hairpin left hand turn back underneath the Plaza). At your second light turn left onto Washington Avenue. The NYIA office is the fourth building on your left. As you turn onto Washington Avenue a public parking garage is available on your immediate right and metered parking is available on the streets.

From West:
Take NYS Thruway (I-90) East. Take Exit 24 (Albany) and continue onto I-90 East. Take I-787 South. Exit at Empire State Plaza. Proceed into the tunnel underneath the Plaza. As you come out of the tunnel turn right onto Swan Street (do NOT make the hairpin left hand turn back underneath the Plaza). At your second light turn left onto Washington Avenue. From East:
Take Mass Turnpike West to end. Continue onto I-90 West. Cross over the Hudson River and take I-787 South. Exit at Empire State Plaza. Proceed into the tunnel underneath the Plaza. Take I-87 (Northway) South. Take Exit 1 to I-90 East. Take I-787 South. Exit at Empire State Plaza. Proceed into the tunnel underneath the Plaza.
